2nd  county fair at the hamlets of La Masure and Le Miroir

The tourist office has organised this event to be held on Sunday 29/7, an afternoon of festivities celebrating local traditions for the second time. You will be able to discover more about these two historic and picturesque villages, experience local life and have some fun!
A wide variety of events will help you discover more about the local history, its local dishes, how people used to dress and find something for all the family to enjoy!

Here’s what’s happening:

14:00 – 18:00 PM

Guided tours explaining local history going back over 100 years with experts on local history including fairy tales, myths and legends thanks to François Barré, Jean-Marie Chevronnet, Sylvie Gotteland and Pascal Odin
Experts on hand all day to provide commentary on the chapels and churches of both villages

Folk dances by “Les Frontières”

Various stalls – old wooden games, patisserie, bar, sale of local produce and a display of historical clothing

Exhibition of old postcards and photos

Valgrisenche choir recitals in local dialect and Italian

In Sainte Foy the museum of historical artefacts owners by Guy and Ginette Maisonneuve will be open (between the Monal restaurant and the Sainta Fé shop)

From 18 :00 PM onwards

Religious service in the Mazure chapel – lasts 45m
Apéritif at Chez Merie restaurant in Le Miroir held outside
Food on the go – polenta, local diot sausage at La Mazure
Baroque music with harp and viola
A showing of the first episodes of “Miroir 2000” with introduction by Yvon Rocca “Weekly Tarentaise News”
