Sites remarquables :

Saint Bernard Pass (45min): situated between France and Italy (2,188 meters high). It has a number of large archeological and historical relics, a walk of “discovery” (garden of Chanousia, cromlech, hospice of Petit Saint Bernard).

Iseran Pass ( 45min): 2,764 meters high, it’s the highest road pass in France and Europe. It links Val d’Isère in Tarentaise Valley to Bonneval-sur-Arc in Maurienne Valley. It’s an important place for cycling « Tour de France ».

The Dam of Tignes (count 20min): one of highest in the world with its 150 meters high. The fresco of 1,200m² which is painted on the dam, called “the Giant”.

Le “Cormet de Roselend” (count 1h): situated 1,968 meters high, this pass symbolizes the border between the Tarentaise Valley and the Beaufortain Valley. It offers breathtaking views on the different landscapes of these valley.

“La vallée des Glaciers” (count 45min): set in Tarentaise Valley, on the border with Italy. It presents beautiful landscapes, and walks. It’s part of the Mont Blanc Tour.

“La vallée de Rosuel” (count 1h30): surrounded by the highest peaks like “Le Sommet de Bellecôte”, “le Mont Pourri”. It’s an entry for the National Park of Vanoise.

“Le village de la Gurraz” (count 15min): At the bottom of the “Mont Pourri”, built on a rocky promontory with traditional chalets.

Le vallon de Champagny-le-Haut” (count 1h15): surrounded by “la Grande Motte” and “la Grande Casse”. Situated in a preserved and remarkable nature park. It’s a « door » of the National Park of Vanoise. Through a large number of walks , with disabled access, discover different villages which have kept its traditional architecture.

“Le vallon des Prioux” (count 1h15): in the center of highest peaks (“le Mont Blanc”, “l’Aiguille du Polset”). There is the famous resort-village of Pralognan-la-Vanoise, the main town of the National Park of Vanoise.

“The Nature Reserve of Hauts Villaroger” (count 15min): created in 1991, is set in Villaroger Commune with an area of 1,062 hectares. It shelters protected species like the Tétras-Lyre, it’s inaccessible for walkers or skiers without a guide.
