Whether in wide open fields of untracked snow, in the forest or just next to the groomed runs; from a simple run to the most technical north face; the off-piste at Sainte Foy has been described as « exceptional » by mountain professionals and experienced amateurs alike.
Heliskiing is authorised by the Italian authorities. As Sainte Foy is situated close to the Italian border it is a fantastic site for heliskiing.
The Sainte Foy guides office specialises in high altitude skiing around Sainte Foy and offers routes of varying difficulty to all skiers who have a good level. Join them and head off to discover untouched areas for the day, looking for the best snow, in the knowledge that you are being guided by professionals

Classic A day’s heliskiing with drop off by the helicopter on the Ruitor glacier (Italy), leaving from Sainte Foy ( le Miroir). Mix off-piste and heliski. Morning heliskiing with a drop in Italy returning by way of the Crôt valley, followed by the north face of the Fogliettaz.
Our advice: weather allowing, a well deserved stop at the restaurant “chez Merie” or le Monal , in villages where you can enjoy the famous country cooking.
France/Italy expedition:
2 days of off-piste skiing in 2 French/Italian massifs.Leave by helicopter for Val Grisenche, a small Italian village similar to Sainte Foy, land on the GIASSON glacier, spend the night in Italy, return to France by the Ruitor glacier.
Heliskiing take place from the middle of January.
These outings need a whole day.
