Heritage

Built in the 18th century to replace the old church, which was destroyed by the torrent in 1732. Rich Baroque and Rocaille altarpiece from the 18th century (listed). Superb wrought iron gate.

Built in the 17th century, it has recently been restored and is the point of departure for a delightful walk from Sainte Foy to La Masure and Le Miroir. Former private chapel of the ‘chatellenie de Sainte Foy’.

Chapel dedicated to the patron saint of livestock. Situated in the heart of the countryside, it is at the junction of two paths and two ski slopes and offers a panoramic view from its promontory.

Hamlet

In the heart of this marvellous protected village, it has been restored. Re-furnished, it has a rustic, mountain charm.

Chapelle Saint Roch - another mountain pasture chapel at the foot of the Col du Mont. St Roch was invoked against the plague, whose epidemics were devastating.

Dating from the 17th century, it was repaired in the 18th and 19th centuries.

St Michel Archange chapel dating from the 17th century, located in the hamlet of Planay-Dessus. A bench awaits you as you gaze at Mont Pourri, the Turia and the Aiguille Rouge.

This pretty chapel, dedicated to Saint Aubin, had its roof rebuilt after a tree fell. The site is particularly romantic.

The church, built in 1975 is the third building on this site. Illuminated on its west facade entirely glazed. Presentation of five altarpieces of previous churches, a wooden pulpit, statuettes and paintings classified ..

Site classified under its natural and heritage interest located at 1874 m altitude .. Le Monal is one of the finest examples of montagnettes in Tarentaise, facing the glaciers of Mt Pourri, Monal tightens its traditional chalets around his chapel.

St Bernard's chapel in Menthon was converted into a bread oven at the beginning of the 20th century. It has been restored to reflect its two respective functions, and was inaugurated with a delightful bread festival.
