Description

A programme adapted for fun walks in the forest, in partnership with Le Pin qui marche.
The walks are open to both children and adults, an opportunity for a great family outing! The fauna and natural environment of Sainte Foy and its surroundings will no longer hold any secrets for you.

Equipment provided.
The outings are guaranteed from 3 registered students. And 4 for the outings with restaurant.
Reservations are made at the ESF chalet.
No refund in case of cancellation, injury or illness.


On the programme:

Discovery of snowshoeing: learn how to put them on and adjust them. And learn a new way of walking.
Duration: 2 hours
Times: 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm

On the tracks of animals: discover the tracks and signs of our animal friends. Learn how to recognize and identify them. Nature activity on snowshoes adapted to families.

Bushcraft or the Art of Living in the Woods: do you want to get off the beaten track and experience life in the woods? This outing is for you! Learn how to set up an efficient shelter in winter and build a fire on the snow. Special snack cooked on a wood fire.

La Gourmande: on the menu, snowy hike, cheese and charcuterie on a bed of Savoy wine, naturally!

Les Montagnettes: take the side paths that only the guide knows, passing through the forest of drains, to arrive on the heights of Planay-Dessus. Discovery of the local human and natural heritage.

Snowshoeing at 1580: walk in the woods to the sound of snowshoes, under the starry sky in a calm and restful atmosphere. Meal planned at the 1580 restaurant, on the heights of the resort. Digestive descent to the snow front!

Les Marquises: take the time to walk through the beautiful forests of our resort, between larch and spruce trees. Nature hike with a tasting objective in the middle of the route. Meal planned at the Marquises mountain restaurant.

Evasion Nocturne: with or without a lamp, walk together towards the snowy landscapes of the resort in a peaceful atmosphere and a hushed vision. Surprises and tastings guaranteed during the excursion for young and old.

The Magic Monal: a superb day out not to be missed! You will enjoy a splendid panorama of the famous Mont Pourri and its glaciers, while having the pleasure of visiting the charming hamlet of Le Monal. Accessible only on snowshoes!

Le Vallon du Crôt: after a short drive, head for Plan du Prés, a route that follows the Saint-Claude torrent between forest and steep valley.

Let's walk in the woods (New): an invitation to discover an animal hidden in our mountains which, in winter, comes down from the heights to follow its game. Walk in the woods on the tracks of the wolf.

The Glaciers of Mont Pourri (New): a hike with a magnificent panorama of the glaciers of the second highest summit in the Vanoise, Mont Pourri. You will walk through an enchanting forest sparsely populated with large boulders and ancient trees.

Au Pays des Chevreuils (New): a forest outing in the territory of the roe deer and other animals that roam around the Sainte Foy resort.
