1. Col de l'Aiguille

Access

2. Wood Plan

The Plan Bois plateau is a magnificent spot at 1770m, with panoramic views of the Mont Pourri glaciers. You can see the Bourg-Saint-Maurice valley, as well as the Rosière ski resort and its access to Italy via the Col de Petit Saint Bernard.

There are several ways to reach Plan Bois:

By a quick and comfortable chairlift or snowshoe from Chapelle Notre dame de Bonconseil (Bataillette sector).

Practical info

You can take the first “Grand Plan” chairlift from the bottom of the resort to the Plan Bois plateau. You’ll need a pedestrian pass to use it, which you can obtain from the lift ticket offices.

The Plateau de Plan Bois is an idyllic spot offering a warm and tasty stopover thanks to its 2 high-altitude restaurants located in the heart of Alpine authenticity facing the magnificent Mont Pourri glacier.

You’ll find 2 high-altitude restaurants: Les Brevettes and Chez Léon.

3. Marquise summit

To dominate the Haute Tarentaise valley, head for the summit of La Marquise.

You’ve arrived in the Haute-Tarentaise, but can you put a picture on this destination? Once you’ve reached the top of the Marquise, there’s no doubt about it: it’s right there in front of you. Early risers may even have the chance to admire a sumptuous sea of clouds.

Access

From the resort, take the Grand Plan chairlift, then the Arpettaz chairlift, then the La Chapelle blue run to reach the foot of the Marquise chairlift.

Don’t hesitate to take a break at the restaurant des Marquises.
In this former alpine chalet, where Nadine and Jeff offer a small menu based on fresh, seasonal and local produce, such as lamb produced in Séez, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view, facing Mont Pourri and the Aiguille Rouge.
