Snow chains are mandatory on at least two drive wheels on snow-covered roads when there is a “special equipment mandatory” sign. There are chaining areas on the road where you can chain up safely. Bus transfers are then available to Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise:

– Lines S82/S83 (direction Tignes/Val d’Isère) can drop you off at Sainte-Foy Chef-Lieu or the hamlet of La Thuile.
