“O Pioc” is the result of a project focusing on farming and foraging. It is a local grocery shop where all the products are homemade.
In La Mazure, a secluded hamlet of Saint-Foy-Tarentaise, this local delicatessen embodies a certain vision of Alpine authenticity, where a commitment to flavour meets a respect for the seasons. Here, production is managed from start to finish. Vegetables are grown, fruit is picked, and herbs are harvested with precision. Each ingredient is then prepared by hand: delicate jams, finely crafted pickles, dried fruit, or even a creamy milk jam made from the farm’s own milk. The selection is enriched with carefully chosen local produce, such as cheeses from the neighbouring goat farm, subtly aromatic verbena, and artisanal syrups, true concentrates of the mountains. Designed as a discreet and authentic destination, this delicatessen offers a refined culinary experience, where every product tells a story of craftsmanship, terroir and commitment.
